Field crews lost access to data in remote areas
Without a functional tool in low-connectivity areas, damage prevention inspectors spent more time documenting site audits by hand, leading to less site audits - posing significant safety and compliance risks.
I recommended and implemented a guide to available offline functionality seen the first time users lost connectivity, as well as presenting a record of tasks/ticket updates they missed while offline.

Offline functionality was not only needed to keep parity with Urbint's main industry competitor Utilisphere, but also to prevent a couple of key customer account worth millions of dollars from switching from DP Lens to Utilisphere.
The design recommendations I made not only ensured these accounts were retained, but also assisted with the expansion of other accounts from pilot users to entire damage prevention teams.
